This beautifully appointed vacation home was designed to suit all your holiday needs. Ambiance sets it standards high, with 4 lovely master suites with private deck or balcony and a fifth loft bedroom that serves as a perfect spot for kids, teens or singles; all with gorgeous views and air conditioning.
Ambiance's unique and attractive kitchen features a pass through to the outdoor pool bar, as well as a large semicircular counter that brings the cook into the conversation and invites both casual breakfasts and elegant catered dinners. The great room is perfect for catching up on some reading, enjoying a movie, or just great conversation on balmy evenings.
The glass doors from the great room slide back and disappear for an easy flow in and out to the decks and pool with its unique features and infinity edge. Ample sun lounging as well as shady seating, invite lazy days of 'villa gravity'. The views are magnificent, from Rendezvous to the east, to Great Cruz Bay and St. Thomas to the west. Enjoy blazing sunsets and the twinkling lights of distant islands on balmy evenings.

What a wonderful trip! Of course the highlight was our wedding on Hawksnest beach and I would highly recommend Ann Marie Porter as a minister. We ate at Morgan's Mango one night and it was very good. We also used Calypso to rent a dingy and alhough I had read some not so complimentary things about them we had no problems and I would recommend them as well. We ordered a cake from East/West catering and it was wonderful. The flowers from Passion Flower were just beautiful as well. The house was perfect and we are thinking of going again next year.

We booked this wonderful home in May, 2006 - knew it looked wonderful in the pictures and hoped for the best. We were thrilled that it turned out to be even more beautiful than we'd hoped! A very well thought out home, and views to die for. Great location for coming back and forth from Cruz Bay. Favorite activity was happy hour in the pool at sunset. A wonderful memory - hope to go back again soon!

We reserved the Ambiance as a family vacation villa during the week of my girlfriend's wedding. As busy as we were, we found plenty of time to relax at the Ambiance and explore St John. The house was gorgeous and extraordinarily equipped - there were cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, a gourmet equipped kitchen and fabulous sound system. The pool, grill and deck were the highlights!
La Tapa was decent but overpriced, Margarita Phil's was fun (the Grande Margaritas are to die for), and Woody's is a no-fail zone. Hawksnest, Cinnamon Bay and Maho were beautiful but Trunk was by far the most gorgeous!
We partied at the beautiful "Vistaero" (villa) for a cocktail party, dined at the Meridian (villa) for the rehearsal dinner, and attended the wedding (i was a bridesmaid) at Hawksnest. Coral World's Harbor Cat hosted the cocktail party as we travelled to St Thomas for the Reception.
This was a vacation of a lifetime!

STAYED IN THE VILLA AMBIANCE FROM 7/28/07-8/4/07. VIEW WAS AMAZING AND LIVING ROOM AREA WAS QUITE NICE. POOL AND PATIO WERE GREAT AND WE SPENT MOST OF OUR TIME THERE. HOWEVER, THE LOFT WAS INFESTED WITH ANTS AND ONE OF OUR FAMILY MEMEBERS GOT ABOUT 80 BITES THE FIRST NIGHT, FROM WHAT WE BELIEVE TO BE BED BUGS OR ANT BITES. AFTER COMPLAINING ABOUT THE ANTS THE MANAGEMENT SENT A MAN TO SPRAY, WHICH CONSISTED OF HIM COMING WITH A CAN OF RAID. THE AMOUNT OF BUGS WERE UNBELIEVABLE AND IT MADE IT HARD TO EVEN ENJOY SITTING OUTSIDE BECAUSE WE WERE COVERED IN BITES. IN THE OTHER BEDROOMS, THE AIR CONDITIONERS LEAKED CONSTANTLY CAUSING A FLOOD ON THE FLOOR AND MAKING IT VERY HARD TO SLEEP WITH THE CONSTANT DRIPPING SOUND. THERE WERE ALSO LIZARDS IN THE BEDROOMS AND IN THE OUTDOOR SHOWERS THERE WERE CONSTANT HERMIT CRABS AND OTHER CRITTERS. WE UNDERSTOOD THERE ARE ALWAYS BUGS ON ISLANDS BUT HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN ALL OF OUR OTHER ISLAND STAYS. MANAGEMENT WAS SLOW TO RESPOND TO OUR PHONE CALLS AND DIDN'T SEEM TO CARE ABOUT ANY OF OUR COMPLAINTS. SENT A LETTER OF COMPLAINT TO THE MANAGEMENT, DESTINATION ST. JOHN AND STILL HAVEN'T EVEN RECIEVED A RESPONSE BACK. ST. JOHN IS A BEAUTIFUL ISLAND BUT I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS VILLA OR ANY OF DESTINATION ST. JOHN'S OTHER PROPERTIES.
