Located within the National Park, Hakuna Matata (Swahili for "no worries") is beautifully fashioned and finely detailed with deluxe furnishings from around the world. Arches frame the breathtaking views of Cinnamon Beach, Drake's Passage, Jost Van Dyke and the ribbon of islets and cays beyond from this impressive new luxury villa. The interiors feature terra cotta tiled floors and a blend of traditional West Indian furnishings with rich, warm mahogany woods, rattans and Oriental rugs. Native stonework, classical pillars, tile roofing over vaulted ceilings, fountains, and 13-foot carved wooden entry doors add majesty and elegance to this totally private mansion's old-world ambience. Four bedroom/bath suites, each with its own private terrace and ocean views, are situated on three levels. The master suite features rich tapestry bedding, mosquito netting, his and her baths with an exotic outdoor garden shower, a sitting area with a writing desk, spacious walk in closet and a wet bar with small fridge and microwave. The views from the master bedroom from it's private balcony are out towards Cinnamon Bay and truly breathtaking. The Great Room, kitchen and all bedrooms are air-conditioned. The professional kitchen features a central island which seats four, a Thermidor gas range with copper hood and a Sub Zero fridge. It opens out to a covered alfresco dining terrace. Stairs in the entry garden lead from the main level down to the fourth bedroom/bath suite as well as to the freeform pool which features a shallow area for children, outdoor shower, powder room and waterfall and hot tub artistically set into natural boulders. A walking path meanders through lush, tropical foliage and dramatic rock outcroppings. An incredible home, it provides an idyllic setting for weddings as well. This villa is amazing. Staying with the protected national park provided absolute tranquility for our vacation. The house is stunning and the decor was extremely well done.
