Description
La Mer is a luxurious villa perched high on a hillside on Bordeaux Mountain. It offers outstanding views of Jost Van Dyke, Sandy Cay and to the North to Virgin Gorda and all the way down the string of pearls known as the Virgin Islands.
Entrance is into a lush courtyard complete with a pair of bronze herons. The interiors offer tiled floors and a rich color scheme set off by light bamboo furnishings.
The master suite has a king sized four poster bed and a gorgeous stone shower large enough for two as well as views all the way to Virgin Gorda. The other three bedrooms are equally appealing with tasteful furnishings and magnificent views.
The kitchen is a gourmet's delight and has beautiful custom ash cabinetry, a center island and granite countertops. Dining may be enjoyed in several areas as well as alfresco.
The inviting pool offers a cool retreat after a day at one of the island's glorious beaches and is, also, a wonderful spot for stargazing.
Due to La Mer's cliffside location and separate bedroom pavilions the home is not suitable for young children.
